If I go to Step 3 (Review) of UFile Online after entering all my tax slips and information, I receive one Warning in the Messages area stating "UFile has determined that you may be eligible for the school tax credit for homeowners because you are at least 55 years of age and your net family income is less than $23,800.   3. Hi DannyBoy: I'm a Manitoba resident and rent as well. I finally stumbled on this solution: While in Step 2 (Interview), click on Manitoba tax and credits in the left column. Scroll to MB479 in the main (right) window and click the "+" button next to the first item (Manitoba education property tax credit advance received, seniors' school tax rebate received, and RentAid benefit received).   4. I've used UFile Online for several years and started my 2015 Tax Return today (10-Mar-2016) using my default Mozilla Firefox 45.0 browser. Every time I try to Close or Sign out from the application (i.e., under the gear icon in top right corner) I see the following message: Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

  6. In previous years I've had to generate a .TAX file with UFile and then upload (attach) this .TAX file when I submitted my tax return electronically via NETFILE. This year I was not prompted to upload a .TAX file but the NETFILE submission seems to have gone through and I was given a confirmation number that indicates that my tax return has been correctly submitted. Are .TAX files being uploaded to the CRA automatically this year for 2014 tax returns?
