  1. Found the answer. Here is the answer to your question. Of course, you can always ask another question. Transfer of UCCB to a dependant If you were a single parent on December 31st of the taxation year, you must enter the amount of the ''RC62 slip - Universal Child Care Benefit statement'' of your file. Three (3) options are available to you: A- You can include the UCCB amount in the file of a person who is eligible for the credit on line 305. B- If you cannot claim the credit on line 305, you can include the UCCB amount in the file of the admissible child; C- You can include the UCCB amount in your tax return. Option A: 1. In the "QuikClik Navigator" of the file of the person who is eligible for the credit on line 305, select "Controls". 2. On the page that is generated on the right, for the question "Claim this dependant as the eligible dependant on federal Schedule 1 line 305?", select "Let MaxBack decide" from the drop-down menu. 3. For the next question, "If you were a single parent on December 31, do you wish to include all of the UCCB amounts you received in 2014 in the income of this dependant?", select the answer "Yes - include all UCCB amounts in the income of the dependant". 4. If necessary, do not forget to change the information in the "Dependant ID" page of that person to indicate that he or she earned some income during the taxation year. The amount will be carried over on line 185 of your return, but will not be included in the result appearing on line 150 ("Total income") of the federal return. Option B: 1. In the "QuikClik Navigator" section of the file of the child who is not admissible to the credit on line 305 but for whom the UCCB has been paid, select "Controls". 2. On the page that is generated on the right, for the question "Claim this dependant as the eligible dependant on federal Schedule 1 line 305 ?", select "Do not claim" from the drop-down menu. 3. On the right-hand side of the screen, for the question "If you were a single parent on December 31, do you wish to you include all UCCB amounts you received in 2014 the income of this dependant?", select "Yes - include all UCCB amounts in the income of the dependant" from the drop-down menu. 4. Do not forget to change the information in the "Dependant ID" page of that person to indicate that he or she earned some income in the taxation year. The amount will be carried over on line 185 of your return, but will not be included in the result appearing on line 150 ("Total income") of the federal return. Option C: You can include all the UCCB amounts in your own income, and the amount will be carried over on line 117 and will modify the amount on line 150 ("Total income") of your federal return.
