  1. Last year I used an accountant to do my taxes because I had a house sale and didn't want to mess things up doing it on my own. Now I'm doing this years return again in Ufile. How do I get last years return into Ufile? Do I just have to type all the information from my T1 into 2016?
  2. Has anybody done this successfully?
  3. For the 2011 tax year, My husband and I each completed a completely separate ufile return. This screwed up our deductions as ufile claimed deductions for both of us that we were not otherwise eligible for. For 2012, we have each finished a separate 2012 tax return on ufile. How do we combine our separate files so that all the information is in one consolidated ufile and it calculates all the deductions properly?
  4. I logged in to UFile Online to start working on my 2013 return and there's no information in there at all. I've been using UFile Online for a few years so I expected all my data to appear. The Import section under Account only seems to have options to import from sources other than UFile Online. How do I get all my 2012 information to carry forward into 2013?

I'm a student and just wondering if i'm using the free account, does the carry forward amount show up into the next year automatically or would i have to do it manually?
  6. I think I'm experiencing a bug in the import of my 2013 tax return, and would like to know whether the workaround steps I've taken are appropriate. Any help would be much appreciated! In 2013, I overcontributed both to my RRSP and to my spouse's, and so I am bringing forward unused contributions in 2014. I used Ufile for Windows in both 2013 and 2014, and so I got Ufile to carry forward my u13 file to begin. Before I enter any more information, the 2014 RRSP Schedule shows my unused spousal contributions carried forward correctly, but not my own RRSP's unused contributions. I then proc
  7. Hi, I've been using UFile for a few years now. After NetFiling my 2012 taxes for my spouse and I, they were reassessed by CRA to our benefit. My 2012 UFile tax return only has the original numbers and not the revised/reassessed figures that we were provided back by CRA on their Notice of Reassessment. I am trying to use the same figures as those supplied back by CRA on their Notice. But currently if I import the 2012 file, I am using incorrect data as there are possibly some carryovers from 2012 that will assist in our 2013 tax return and I want to ensure I capture those. Some of the
