  1. I entered a charity donation amount to my account. It calculates the charity deduction for federal. However, it shows $0 for Manitoba Provincial Tax Credit. I have set "claim GST/PST" set to YES. How can I get it to calculate the Manitoba Provincial Tax Credit for Charitable donation? Also, how do I generated a Manitoba Tax return?
  2. In the interview I selected "Line 6086 - Manitoba tuition fee income tax rebate - unused amount and subsequent claims [T1005]" under "Manitoba Tax and Credits" I then entered the cumulative tuition fees from my 2014 notice of assessment in the corresponding spot. However, this number is NOT showing up in my tax return under form T1005 - Manitoba Tution fee Income Tax rebate on the corresponding line 1 in part 2 "Enter the cumulative tuition fees amount from your 2014 notice of assessment or notice of reassessment." As line 3 asks the tax filer to add lines 1 and 2 together, this means I do not have the correct total as the amount I am entering is not showing up in line 1. Please help.

  5. I'm claiming my mother for the Caregiver Amount (NOT the Primary Caregiver Amount) and have added her information to my file as a dependant but the program is not calculating the manitoba personal tax credit of 195 or the age amount of $113. Her income is $15,000 but her provincial credits page is blank. On my return, the caregiver amount is properly calculated. The error message on her results page says the provincial credits are not being claimed as her income is too high, which i know is incorrect as she would need at least 19,500 to lose her personal credit let alone her age amount. Please advise. Thank you.
