  1. For the past few years i have run ufile on windows 7 running under virtualbox on an old iMac. This year, I am unable to netfile, because "netfile opens Feb 24..." (see attached screen grab ufile1.tiff). although file was generated today (see attached screen grab ufile2.tiff), so it does know the correct date.. Any suggested workarounds? (my next step is to reinstall on my daughters windows computer, and go from there, but social distancing prevents that right now!) ufile1.tiff ufile2.tiff
  2. Hello, I am self-employed and earn commissions. I have filled out the "T4A - Pension, retirement, annuity, and other income" form as well as the "T2125 - Commission income" form and can find no error in the way that I have entered everything. The results at the end seem to reflect accurately too, however it gives me a warning and says I cannot file to netfile: -"T4A box 020 is present, make sure this amount is also included within a business grouping" -"The amount in T4A boc 020 must also be reported as business income" As far as I can tell, both of these are done already....any h
  3. Hi all. Filing a return for a couple with ufile for windows. Husband has a T2201 on file, and it is entered under his medical section in the interview ("are you elegible for the disability amount on line 316"). When going to efile the return, I am given a warning under the wife's return stating "You have to confirm that CRA has an approved T2201 for the spouse on your account. Click here to fix". Clicking on the link brings me to a blank page on the wife's return. How do I correct this error? Thanks, Jason
  4. If I go to Step 3 (Review) of UFile Online after entering all my tax slips and information, I receive one Warning in the Messages area stating "UFile has determined that you may be eligible for the school tax credit for homeowners because you are at least 55 years of age and your net family income is less than $23,800. Click here to return and enter the school taxes you paid." When I click the hyperlink all I see is a grey screen that says "loading..." but nothing loads (even if I wait until my online session times out) and I am never redirected back to interview questions related to the Man
  5. I'm using UFILE 2014.1812+ and was having issues when calculating the results. I keep getting the following warning despite the fact it's already March and there were no other warnings or errors coming up. --- The NETFILE service for tax year 2014 will open on February 10, 2015. Please return on or after that date to file using NETFILE. --- I tried with carrying forward an existing 2013 file and just creating a new file from scratch with the same results. I've been trying to look the online support and forums and couldn't find any similar topics. Anybody else having a similar issue, or
  6. In filing for 2013, I keep getting the warning "You did not enter a NAICS (North American industry classification system) code for a business (self-employment)." in the results section. I am using a proper code (711512) and have been for years with no error. I have tried multiple times on different browsers and different computers with no success. Please advise on how to fix this problem
  7. I have filled out my taxes and entered all information from my T4's etc. On the RESULTS page I keep getting a warning message regarding my CPP in line 16. "You have employment income and are not exempt from paying CPP/QPP contributions. You should normally enter your CPP contributions (Box 16) Click here to review your data or QPP contributions (box 17) Click here to review your data in your T4 slip." I have reviewed this dozens of times and the numbers match those on my T4 slips. I have other income(tips) which I have ticked "yes" to allow for additional CPP contributions on. I kee
