When opening .u17 file, I get the message "Unable to locate UFile 2017. Please make sure that the application is properly installed on your system." It has been installed on D partition and works but does not find file. When I close the message, the correct u17 file opens. When I try to download info from government I get "Sorry, error occurred." Is it necessary to install ufile on drive C? Can I uninstall, then reinstall on Drive C and open previous u17 file from where it is stored on Drive D?
I'm a new online user trying to use the CRA Auto-fill my return capability. The help file reads: To use the CRA's Auto-fill my return service for the first time, please follow these steps: 1. On the 'Interview" page, in the navigation window list located on the left-hand side, select the page "CRA Auto-fill my return". There is no "CRA Auto-fill my return" option. I've tried both Chrome and MS Edge browsers on Windows 10 with all updates / patches applied. Any suggestions appreciated.
Hey, I have a T4a issued, with only the boxes 014 and 028 filled in and nothing else. It was for contract work. Ufile doesn't have an option to add these boxes under the T4a section. Any ideas? The income was for work, not pension or anything i can see listed.
Hi community members, According to this page: http://www.revenuquebec.ca/en/citoyen/impots/guide/presentation/devez_vous.aspx ... individuals must file a Quebec tax return if: You ceased to reside in Canada in 2013, and were resident in Québec on the day you ceased to reside in Canada (regardless of where you were living on December 31, 2013).This is my current situation. I have moved to the USA from Quebec in late 2013, and I entered this correctly in UFile 2013 ("emigrant" page), however when I go to the "Results" tab, the Quebec portion of the return is not showing up. Is this a bug or did I do something wrong? Thank you in advance for your help.
