  1. Does anyone know how I can claim previously-unclaimed 2016 RRSP contributions for the 2017 year as a repayment under the Home Buyer's Plan in ufile, and if so, how I should do it? I have some unclaimed room from the 2016 tax year (made in February 2016) and would like to claim it for my 2017 HBP repayment if possible.Based on the schedule 7 it looks like I can claim contributions made between January 2016 and March 2017 but I don't know how to do this in ufile.(https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/cra-arc/migration/cra-arc/E/pbg/tf/5000-s7/5000-s7-fill-16e.pdf)
  2. UFile Online is not correctly handling my Eligible Retiring Allowance in Box 66. I opened a Support request and it took 19 days to hear back. The response simply stated what I could easily see was being done by the software and offered no help with the problem. And with no phone support, all I can do is email back and hope they get it this time. To recap my issue... Line 1 on Schedule 7 (Unused RRSP contributions) already includes the amount reported in Box 66 of my T4. So for me to file, it must NOT be placed on Line 2 of Schedule 7. If it is placed on Line 2, Line 4 of Schedule 7 ends up overstating my RRSP contributions. What I need is the Box 66 amount reported ONLY on line 11 of Schedule 7. Has anyone else encountered this? Has anyone been able to get a useful response from UFile Support on the issue? Without a solution, I've wasted my money on UFile for 2012 filing. Thanks.
