Hi, I am filing my tax. When I claimed expenses for my self employed business (day care), I realized that only 50% of the expenses (meals, utilities, etc.) were deducted from the gross income. On the other hand, the expenses were deducted fully if I used SimpleTax. Is it a way that I can adjust the deduction to 100% in Ufile? Thanks!
In past years (7 actually) I have used UFile for my families taxes. This year, I've noticed that many things have changed. I used UFile Gold Premium due to one self-employed person in the household. With things changing this year, I don't have a clue which to use. I wish to purchase one where I can have it installed on my PC, which negates the online version. Do I need UFile 4 or Pro???
I am self employed and after following the steps to enter all my income and expenses, the net showed 0 under box 135 in ufile. I did the same thing last year with ufile and government ended up reassessing my return and charged me additional as they could not see my self employed income separately in my return and thinking that I misreported it. How do I enter my T4A amount, commissions, and expenses to have BOTH explicitly shown in my return. I do not like to have my return misreported again this year. thank you.
