Why can I not file my return through NETFILE and U-File?  I have no errors or warnings, I agreed to Terms and conditions but I get Rejected,  The underlying connection was closed: an unexpected error occurred on a receive.

 

My internet connection is working.

When I do what you suggested it says i am not eligible to use net file but if I put a date in it says I am eligible but then I get an error msg

 

The 't1rq:FileReturnRequest' start tag on line 1 position 191 does not match the end tag of 't1:T1Return'. Line 1, position 966.

I cannot file any returns for my family.  ALL attempts say Rejected The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive.

 

I have spent hours on hold with Revenue Canada who tell me that NOT A SINGLE send through UFile has been logged, so that means that the UFile software itself is not working.

 

I have tried everything I can think of - running as administrator, rebooting, clearing my history, etc. and NOTHING is working.

 

It seems that this is a common problem with UFile after checking the forums, one that I have never encountered, until this year.

 

WTF is going on?  I want to file my returns.  If you can't or won't fix the problem, I demand a refund.

I just got this message from ufile.ca on facebook "Windows Vista is no longer supported by UFile as it is no longer supported by the CRA. If this is the case then please contact support on help@ufile.ca" Aparently that is why I am recieving the error

I am so frustrated. I am also trying to file my taxes with Ufile for myself and my husband and keep receiving an error message and being rejected.  This has never happened to me before and I have been filing with them for at least 5 years.  I will be asking for a refund and using another company to file my return, tonight.

Same problem, unable to send electronically despite all complete and no errors.  What is going on? Has UFile acknowledged a problem and when it intends to fix it.?

 

OK problem was I still had Vista on desktop.  Used laptop with Windows 8 and was able to send Quebec tax file.  Also resolved another problem that came up with the Federal tax that rejected due to some long gibberish starting with (The T1rq: File Reuten Request' etc. etc.   This was solved when I went to Interview > File progression and deleted dates shown.

I have been trying to resolve this for 4 days with no valid response from ufile.  It would seem as though they don't have a solution to their problem.  so they ignore that there is a problem  z>>  who me????

 

Ufile please let us know what your problem is   >>  besides the lack of support problem.

If you are considering switching to UFile (read my review) this year, there is one huge drawback you need to be aware of: the support is really slow. Firstly, UFile does not offer phone support. If you encounter a problem with the software or need some help, the only way to currently contact UFile is through email (the website says that live chat support will be available later).

Many readers have commented on their frustration with UFile’s slow response times and I personally experienced it as well. I sent a quick question on March 4, 2008 and received a response on March 10th, which is unacceptably slow in my opinion. QuickTax offers phone support for Standard or higher but it wouldn’t be a fair comparison due to its higher price. However, QuickTax Basic has the same sticker price as UFile and support is by email only but I found their response to be a lot faster – less than 24 hours.

 use windows 10 and am on day4 witing for response from the ufile email team.  Obviously they have better things to do then ensure their product is working why is their not a phone contact somewhere.  getting so very angry.   CRA stopped short of telling me not to use Ufile to use other programs.  after the number of years we've used this product I guess it's time to find another
