UFile 2016 (windows) won't launch

Hi, I've installed Ufile 2016 on my computer (I have Windows 8.1) and it worked fine. However, when I closed it and tried to open the next day, it won't allow me to. I was clicking on Ufile 2016 icon but it didn't work. There was no warning messages so I don't even know what's the issue. I tried to troubleshoot it following instructions but it was unsuccessful. Please let me know if somebody experienced the same issue and if yes, how can I fix it?

Hi Sergey,

 

Have you tried the solution below?

1. Open Windows Explorer (Windows Key + E)
2. In the address bar, type “%localappdata%\Thomson_Reuters_DT_Tax_an”.
3. Press ENTER.
4. Delete all  “impotexpert.exe_*” and “ufile.exe_*” folders found in “%localappdata%\Thomson_Reuters_DT_Tax_an” folder.
5. Start UFile 2016.

I am having this EXACT same issue with UFile 2017 (windows). I looked up the file that was suggested for this issue on UFile 2016 but no luck.

Roger - any suggestions for this same problem but with UFile 2017.
