Access to COR or .tax File of T2 Corp return

Recommended Posts

I want to be able to download COR file (or .tax) from Ufile T2. That is needed for T2 submission on My Account site at CRA.  I'm unable to efile from my Ufile T2 account as I require a WAC code, which I'm unable to obtain electronically since the button to do so in Ufile T2 isn't there.

And yes, I know I can call the CRA, but I would need to wait another 4 days (long weekend) and they are closed.  I would just like to download the COR file and upload through CRA and be done with it.

Does anyone know how to download the COR file (or .tax)?

Hello JulieL,

UFile T2 creates the *.COR extension when you transmit your tax return electronically through EFile. You won’t be able to download a *.COR extension for your tax return in UFile T2 but by clicking on the link below you could register online for a web access code or EFile number with the Canadian Agency Revenue.

Thanks Antoine7. However, your first link doesn't allow us to register online for a web access code. This is what that page says about . Can you be more specific? Am I missing anything here ?

How to obtain a Web Access Code

If you transmit your T2 return using a Web Access Code, you can apply for, and receive, this code within certain commercial tax preparation software packages without having to call the Canada Revenue Agency’s Corporation Internet Filing Helpdesk.

Otherwise, contact the Corporation Internet Filing Helpdesk; please refer to the Helpdesk hours of service.

Corporations resident in Canada 1-800-959-2803
Non-resident corporations
We accept collect calls.

Alternatively, you may request Web Access Codes by fax. You must provide the corporation name, Business Number and Tax Year End. Send the request to the attention of the 'Corporation Internet Filing Help Desk' in Summerside at 902-432-5938 or Winnipeg at 204-984-0418.
