UFile 2018 update v22.20 causes program termination

Successfully installed UFile2018 from disk.  On initial use, program forced update to v22.20.  Now, program initialised with 4 threads (in Resource Monitor) then self terminated after ~15 s on Win 7 Pro SP 1.  Tried compatibility mode Win XP SP2 with administrator privileges with same result.  Tried following steps without success:

  1. Open Windows Explorer (WindowsKey + E)
  2. In the address bar, type: %localappdata%\Thomson_Reuters_DT_Tax_an
  3. Press ENTER
  4. Delete all impotexpert.exe_* and ufile.exe_* folders found in %localappdata%\Thomson_Reuters_DT_Tax_an
  5. Start UFile

Reinstalling from disk brings back to original state where the initial screen is presented, then asks for update.
