[Ufile for 2024 estimates]

Hello,

What is the best way to use Ufile 2023 version for 2024 tax estimates given the tax brackets are known already for 2024? I'd like to be able to figure out how much capital gains (stock sales) my wife and I can take by pushing us up near the top of a given tax bracket.  The download for 2024 in December comes too late to leave all 2024 stock sales I want to make to be able to make this kind of accurate decision planning for 2024 tax year. Any suggestions?

[Purchase date for stocks that were purchased many times]

Hi,

I'm sure this has been answered but can't find in a search.

I've purchased a stock many times over the years but sold it this year. I know adjusted cost base etc. In the relevant window for  recording "Stock, mutual fund ..." sales, there's a line for "Date of Acquisition". What do I enter here if there's multiple dates the stock was purchased?

Why hasn't Ufile created a slick spreadsheet format to enter all the stock trades? Very clunky to enter them one by one from the Capital Gains and Losses window.
