  1. Just want to 'bump' this issue to the top again. So here we are a year later, and I still had the same issue, did the same steps to get it working for uFile 2022. Maybe someone from uFile support can provide an update for the installation program? Rob.
  2. @Robert M, have you downloaded a previous years version and extracted it like in the instructions on the post above? That’s what worked for me.
  3. @Phil You need to get an older version of the uFile install program - like from 2019, use an archive extract tool, like WinRAR or 7Zip, extract the .exe installation file into a directory. Then do the same for the 2021 .exe installation file. Once you've done that, you'll have 2 directories, one for 2019 and one for 2021. Go into the 2019 one and find the "NDP452-KB2901907-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe" file. Copy it into the 2021 directory. Then in the 2021 directory, edit the 'setup.ini' file and replace the last line that says: Prerequisites=EdgeWebView2 to Prerequisites=Netfx45 Once you've done that, click on the 'setup.exe' file in the 2021 directory. I should then install uFile 2021 correctly. Good Luck! Rob.
  4. @Robert M Follow the instructions in this post that's in another forum:
  5. I just applied the fixes in the instructions, and it worked for me! Thanks @G.W
  6. Found in another forum the fix: Hope this helps.
  7. I'm getting the same behaviour. I've downloaded it and clicked on the .exe. It goes through the install questions then when it comes to actually running the install, I get an error box. I'm using Windows 10. I've attached an image. After I click on the 'ok' button, it says that uFile has installed successfully, but it's not installed.
