  1. I clicked "Yes" from the drop down in the application. Entered $500 for amount received in 2021. When to the declaration page and filled in with 12 month occupation and the property tax paid. When I go to my tax return, on my Form ON-BEN 2021, page 2, the line 61070 is NOT ticked, Part A line 61120 has the property tax, Part B Declaration appears complete Part C is blank. When I go to Ont Trillium Calculation page 2 Section E it is all blank. WHAT AM I MISSING HERE. HOW DO I GET IT TO CALCULATE SECTION E?
  2. I elected to stop CPP contributions on Self-employed income in 2019 and filed the appropriate Schedule 8. In the 2021 Ufile program, the Control page, Canada Pension Plan section, I am only responding to Prior CPP Election question "did you make an election in a prior year to stop contributing to the CPP?", with "Yes" input from the dropdown. When I do the review, no warnings. When I click on Tax Return, UFile is giving me an Electronic Filing Error, and stipulating : "you are at least 65 years of age but under 70, you received CPP/QPP retirement pension, and you have earned self-employment income. You must identify if a Form CPT30 was completed to stop contributing to the CPP, or to revoke an election made in a prior year to stop contributing to the CPP and the date of the election ." What is the proper fix fro this? Marc
  3. Control election to stop contribution to CPP on self-employed income is not turning off. Followed all the instructions: As a self-employed individual, if you do not wish to contribute to the CPP, please follow the steps below: 1- On the "Left side menu on the Interview tab", select the "Controls" option. 2- On the "Canada Pension Plan" section, under "If you had employment earnings:", go to the question "Did you make a CPT30 election in 2019?". If you had both employment income and self-employment income in 2018 and wanted to elect to stop paying CPP contributions in 2018, answer "Yes" from the drop-down menu, then enter the election date. 3- On the section, "If you had self-employment income (see help?)", go to question "Did you want to stop contributing to the CPP on self-employment income?". 4- For the question, "If you answered Yes to the question above, enter the election date (01-mm- 2019 ) There is an additional question: Did you make an election in prior years to stop contributing to CPP? I answered yes to this. nothing happened. I shifted the yes to blank. nothing happened. Anybody have any thoughts on how to rectify this problem?
