I solved the problem for my situation (and hopefully for others as well). I had previously changed the Windows 10 Environment Variables TEMP and TMP folder values to point to another drive (i.e. from C:\Users\Doug\AppData\Local\Temp to D:\Doug\Temporary Files) to save space on my SSD C:\ drive. When I reverted back to the default settings, and did a restart, I was able to install UFile 2020, register it, and start entering data. I will contact UFile with this information and I hope that they will pass it along to any others suffering from this problem.
