Due to COVID-19 many students in 2020 were studying in their home country and paid their tuition fee here in Canada. However, they landed in Canada in 2021. Would they still have to file a 2020 return too or else how can they claim 2020 tuition fee non refundable credit in 2021 return for 2020 tuition fee?

I was wondering how to file a previous year return if I purchase Ufile Pro 2021 through EFILE? Do we have to purchase a Ufile 2020 for efile users? can you provide the link how can I buy?
