I am trying to help my father in law who is 68 years old. He is self-employed. Owes big amount due to the fact that most of it is CPP. He wants to stop contributing to CPP. I did the following yet it shows big amount CPP. I went to controls and answered Yes for self employed and NO to employed. and stop contributing to CPP/Jan 1, 21 The CPP payment is still there and schedule 8 , part 2 shows CPP applying for 12 months. Please help.
