  2. Hello SmallCapGirl AB, For debt securities the proceeds can be 100% interest or a portion of interest and capital gains. If the security was held to maturity then you have 100% interest income. If you sold BEFORE the maturity then see below the sample data entry you require to correctly calculate the interest rate and capital gain portion. OR the CRA Servers are overloaded. Try again at off peak hours.

On the "Spouse Identification" page, answer "Yes but different phone number" to the question “Do you have the same address as your spouse?” Click "Next" at the bottom of the page. Enter your phone number in the "At home" field. Leave the other fields blank. Then try to submit your tax return again.

Hello Mark Lan, ReFile Result:615 ------------------------- Netfile : Your account is locked, if you need assistance please contact us (the CRA) Error 15 The CRA has locked your account due to too many failed attempts to NetFile (5xTimes maximum). You should contact the CRA to **unlock the account ie specifically the transmission to Netfile ** and then wait at least 12 hours to NetFile. Please note there is a difference between CRA myaccount and the CRA Netfiling account and not all CRA agents are aware of this. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do. Of note, you can also print and mail the tax return. CRA Tel. : 1-800-267-6999 Refile : CRA Result Code: 615 error CRA did not accept your refile. It also says that you only can only try 5 times and then CRA will lock you out. See Error 15

  12. Hello SandyAllard, If the Type code of securities does not appear in the drop down, then leave it as blank (NULL). It is not required by teh CRA and is not transmitted to the CRA (they already have the T5008).

If experience issues with the exe (example if the Anti-Virus or Firewall blocks the download or Microsoft forces "not Microsoft verified App" ) then download the zip file instead, unzip it and install.   15. Hello Sauga24, If you received a warning, it will not prevent you from NetFIling your tax return. A warning is merely a message to let you know there may have been a data entry error. Any overpayment to CPP will be refunded to you on line 44800. In this case, you may ignore the message and proceed to NetFile your tax return.

Hello UfileBC, CCA class of the vehicle Class 54 - 30% Class 54 30% Include zero-emission vehicles acquired after March 18, 2019 that would otherwise be included in Class 10 or 10.1, with the same CCA rate of 30%. There is a limit of $55,000 (plus federal and provincial sales taxes), for 2019, on the capital cost for each zero-emission passenger vehicle in Class 54. Class 54 may include both zero-emission passenger vehicles that do and do not exceed the prescribed threshold. However, unlike Class 10.1, Class 54 does not establish a separate class for each vehicle whose cost exceeds the threshold. If a zero-emission passenger vehicle is disposed of to a person or partnership with whom you deal at arm's length, and its cost exceeds the prescribed amount, the proceeds of disposition will be adjusted based on a factor equal to the prescribed amount as a proportion of the actual cost of the vehicle. For dispositions made after July 29, 2019, based on proposed legislation, the actual cost of the vehicle will also be adjusted for the payment or repayment of Government assistance.

  21. Hello ottawa, If zero Income and zero expenses then you do not need to file the T2125 ELSE you receive a Netfile error. (only for T2 corporation you must still file a nil return)
