  1. Hi there, My wife has $43K in income for the 2022 year but has a due amount of $900, which I don't understand as her income is not high. She had 4 employers, does not have a RRSP but received about $6K in EI paying only $126 in taxes. Her repayment rate is 30%. Would that EI payment be the reason why she has to pay the $900?
  2. Hi there, My wife and I live in BC but own a house in ON. CRA granted the status under subsection 45(2) for the house in ON as we are renting in BC. I understand I cannot declare the CCA on the house we own but must declare the rent we perceive from it. Am I allowed to declare management fees, mortgage interest, etc..? If so, as my wife and I are co-owner, should I create a rental property income for both of us splitting into 2 all the amounts so the expenses are indicated correctly on my and her tax return?
  3. Hi, What about the motor vehicle expense? Do I split that into 2 motor vehicle expenses as well?
