  1. I'm not an expert, but I went through a similar situation with my mom. It's commendable that you're taking care of your dad's affairs. You might want to consult with a tax professional or the Ufile support team to ensure everything is done correctly. They should be able to guide you through the process and address any specific concerns related to filing on behalf of someone with Alzheimer's. Btw do you guys know any good lawyers? My friend advised me to check out https://federal-lawyer.com/whistleblower-lawyers/healthcare/, and I'm curious If any of you worked with them. Take care!
  2. Tax time can be a bit tricky, but attending conferences for work is usually deductible. I'd recommend checking the "Education and Job-Related Expenses" section. If you're still unsure, reaching out to a tax pro could be a game-changer! And speaking of conferences, if anyone's on the hunt for excellent conference organizers, I recently teamed up with a stellar group. They made our event a breeze!
  3. You should be able to claim it in the right section of your return, so don't worry! It's actually claimed as a tax credit on Schedule 1. So, don't worry, you're not missing anything – it's just in a different spot! If you assistance or have more questions, don't hesitate to consult with financial specialists. For example, you might want to reach out to Mortgage Broker Blackpool for expert advice on any tax or debt-related matters. They can help you navigate all the nuances and ensure you're on the right track.
  4. Hey there. I just came across this thread and wanted to share my 2 cents. As far as I know, UFile doesn't have a version specifically for Linux operating systems. But you might be able to use Wine or another compatibility layer to run the Windows version of UFile on your Linux machine. Have you tried that? Also, just a heads up, CentOS 7 EOL (end of life) is coming up soon, so you might want to consider upgrading to a newer version of CentOS or finding a service that could support it. Just my thoughts. Btw, guys, what do you think about the end of life of COS7?
