  1. Hi Mahamoud, I looked back and see there's an option to re-file right near the top of the "Identification" section where you begin a new year's return.

The U-file system must have a glitch. I've used U-file successfully for several years to do joint filing for my wife and me and had been happy with the program until now. The difference between the Net Refund computed by U-file and the corrected-by-CRA refund was a loss of $990.00. When I poured through all the calculations, I found a glaring error where U-file failed to carry one of our Net incomes into a subsequent calculation, resulting in a bloated deduction for senior home care. My wife had died in November, 2022. Even though U-file did indicate capacity to deal with such situations, perhaps the program had a glitch under that circumstance. I don't know if I can trust U-file to not mess up my return next year. Anyone else with this type of carry-over error in your tax return through a system fault in U-file?
