UFile for Windows VS UFile PRO

UFile for Windows and UFile PRO are essentially the same program. The difference resides in the fact that UFile PRO is aimed at low-volume tax specialists who prepare more than 20 returns during a given tax year.

 

Because the CRA has set a limit of 20 returns for software certified for NETFILE, UFile PRO transmits returns using the CRA's EFILE service.

No, the functionalities of UFile PRO are the same as the regular UFile but DT Max offers such a feature:

Can tax returns be Efiled with Ufile for Windows, or only Netfiled?

Hello Jamie,

To EFile:

you need UFile pro version for windows;

To NetFile:

you need UFile for windows (standard version) maximum 20 returns.

Hi @Bookkeeping Girl, yes you can do both with the appropriate activation keys.  Click on the "settings" menu from the top-right corner and "Add additional returns" to add another activation key. Go back to "settings"  and choose "EFILE - NetFile setup" and switch from Efile to Netfile.
