Cannot enter CRA Efile number with two characters into Efile Netfile Setup 2018 2019

In CVITP versions of Ufile, I cannot enter my  CRA Efile number into the CRA EFILE number field in the Efile Netfile Setup.

My Efile number is two charcters and 3 numbers.

Colleagues whose Efile number is a single character with 4 numbers are able to correctly enter their efile number.

This applies only to the current versions of Ufile 2018 2019 CVITP software. Other years work correctly.

Hello Gee Em Cee,

This CVITP EFILE issue only applies to tax years prior to 2020 and is known by CVITP CRA.  You must mail the tax return.

• 2013-2019 original format of ANNNN (one letter 4 numbers) only.  IF you have tax returns to file for 2013 to 2019 they must be paper filed.
• 2020 – onwards new format of ANNNN (one letter 4 numbers) and ABNNN.(two letters and three numbers) ie both formats.
