  1. Hi DGM and chrifou, The error T3T00001 relates to an invalid entry within your tax return. It can be due to a value exceeding its maximum allowable amount, a negative amount being reported within a positive only field (such as Schedule G), invalid format etc. The T4A RL1-O Box is correct. It is not the source of the problem. As the issue may vary from case to case the best approach is to email the .u15 file to ufile support for analysis. If you are concerned about security you can modify your name, SIN, date of birth (month and day only), and leave the rest of the information as is.   3. Hi DGM, The Error Message covers a wide range of potential issues. In order to determine the exact cause of the problem ufile support will have to look into your specific .u15 file. Once they determine the source of the problem they would be able to provide you with a proper solution. I would suggest you forward them your .u15 file .   5. Hi kmoz, The problem reported by rborgesa was rectified within Version 19.20 which was the last version released. If you are still seeing a problem it likely differs from rborgesa. I hope this answers your question and you have a great day.
  6. Hi bdinadis, Within UFile, access your T4 Slip, and for Box 28 which is named "Exempt (CPP/QPP, EI, PPIP) (Warning: If exempt, see help), set the entry to "Exempt CPP/QPP (rare!)". The Diagnostic should now no longer appear and you should be able to NetFile. I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.
  7. Hi AlexB, An update was issued and it rectified the problem. Alternatively you can attempt either of the solutions below - Enter EI Exempt followed by CPP Exempt (do not specify an amount within Box 16 (CPP Contributions) Box 18 (EI Contributions) Box 24 (EI Earnings) or Box 26 (CPP Earnings)). - Ignore Box 28 completely and enter 1 cent within Box 16 and a cent within Box 18 while leaving Box 24 and 26 empty. If you continue to encounter a problem then your situation must be different from the others above. If so, then you should likely submit your .u15 File to ufile support so that they can determine the cause of the problem. I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.
  8. Hi margalee The easiest approach would likely be to forward your .u15 file to UFile Support. They can then look into the Return(s) and answer the Schedule 1-A questions accordingly. Once rectified they can save the file and forward it back to you so that you may transmit it. I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.

  10. Hi doudouzhang, Error 23898 encapsulates a number of potential issues. MRQ may be performing a system maintenance, or indeed experiencing a temporary problem, or the service may be temporarily closed. Normally the issue is resolved within 24 hours so the problem should be rectified by tomorrow. If not you can attempt to contact them by phone. The number I found was 514-873-3474 (Montreal) or 418-659-2281 (Quebec). Hope this helps and that you have a great day !
  11. Hi wea4038, Make sure you did not select "No, I will mail it" within your spouse's NetFile page. Please also ensure that your spouse generates a tax return within the "Tax Return" tab. If you generate a 1 page report stating that a return is not required for filing then there is no need to transmit her income tax return. If you are using an earlier version of the UFile product simply access the "File Progress" page within the Identification Tab and remove any Federal NetFile Acknowledgement date which was entered. You may then recalculate the return in question and retransmit. If you recently downloaded or intend to download the latest UFile version then the software will automatically remove the date for you. Please note though, that under the latest version, if the date within the "NetFile acknowledgements (Read only)" page has not been automatically removed then your spouse's income tax return was most likely received and accepted by CRA's system. We would ask that you contact CRA in order to confirm the successful transmission of the return. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  12. Hi vintel, I would suggest you forward John from UFile Support your .u15 File. He can then look at the Return(s) being generated and determine how to go about answering the Schedule 1-A questions. Once he completes that section for you he could save the file and forward you back the .u15 file in question. Upon receipt of the updated File you would see how he went about answering the questions (perhaps, for your understanding, he can also email you an explanation along with the File itself). Once you receive the File you would then be able to proceed toward the actual transmission. I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.

Hi doudouzhang, Yes, the result of your transmission is automatically saved within your file and as such if a Return was accepted it should continue to show that same result when you next access the file. I have run multiple transmissions but have not been able to replicate the problem you have encountered. As a precaution you may want to consider re-submitting the File. If it was already accepted then the re-submission should be rejected stating that the Return in question has already been accepted. If it is accepted then you'll know for certain that it was never actually submitted. In the mean-time I will continue to investigate this issue to see if it can be replicated or if anyone else has encountered a similar issue.   14. Thanks maggieb_mcb. The files you save when using UFile (DeskTop) are all saved with a .u15 extension. You can copy anyone of those files into an email and send it to support@ufile.ca I hope this answers your question and that you have a great day.
  15. Hi maggieb_mcb, The Quebec RRSP amounts should not have been omitted from the calculation. Would it be possible to forward ufile support one or two of the files (i.e. The .u15 File itself) ? Once we have the file we would work on confirming the software error. If it is not a software error then we can contact MRQ directly to determine why the information was not properly processed. I came across one other client with a similar situation and he clearly had a claim on Line 214 which was transmitted except his assessment did not include it. He decided to file an adjustment to rectify the situation. In your case an adjustment would also have to be filed for any impacted taxpayers but we would still appreciate receiving the .u15 file so that we can contact MRQ and determine the source of the of the problem. In the mean time I will still contact MRQ based on the information I have on hand to see if they can provide any additional information. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
