[Sale of primary residence - important question]

We purchased a new home and moved in Dec 20, 2022 and the sale of our home closed in Jan 2023. Do I say yes for the question: Did you sell a principal residence in 2022?

Technically our sale closed in 2023 but the deal was all finalized in 2022.

If I have to report it, is it necessary to put the purchase price back in 2014 and sale price in 2022/2023 and all of the other fields?

 

 

[Claiming Additional Federal Amount for Spouse with physical disability]

Any luck finding an answer? I am claiming the DTC and I am trying to figure out how my wife claims the caregiver amount.

[Caregiver - Disability credit]

I am claiming the disability credit on my 2022 taxes (first time claiming) and I am wondering if there is a way for my wife to claim the caregiver amount?

CRA has already approved me for the DTC but I am unsure how to apply the caregiver credit for my wife on UFILE.

[Reporting a loss - question how to input]

Last year I had a capital gain of $5000 and I reported it as follows:

Total proceeds $10000

Adjusted cost base of the shares $5000

For 2022 I have a $600 loss to report. Is this correct to show the loss:

Total Proceeds $600

Adjusted cost base of the shares $1200
