RRSP deduction limit amount is showing in the tax return as a deduction amount and deducted from my gross income which is not correct.

 I made no contributions in 2023. I didn't enter any RRSP deductions in the interview only the deduction limit from my 2022 assessment.

Hello Sue Mutch,

Go back to the RRSP screen in the Interview section and make sure you did not enter your deduction limit on the wrong line. 

If you have no contributions then the screen should be totally empty, except for the  limit amount at the top of the page.

For example:

I put the deduction limit in the correct box but I also entered unused contributions from prior years. Once that was deleted it fixed. Thank you
