  3. @Scott23, you can submit your tax return without the netfile access code. It is not mandatory, and the warning for the net access code will not influence your submission. You can just remove the access code, and proceed to netfile.

  6. Hi, @HMJC If you withdrew funds from your RRSP during the tax year, you should have received a T4RSP slip indicating the amount of the withdrawal. To enter your RRSP withdrawal, please follow the steps below: 1- On the "Left side menu on the Interview tab", select "Interview setup". 2- On the right side of the page, go to the "Pension" group, check the box for "Pension income, other income and spit pension (T4A, T4A(OAS), T4A(P), T4A-RCA, T4RSP, T4RIF, T1032)" and click on "Next" at the bottom of page. 3- Return to the "Left side menu on the Interview tab" and select "T4A and pension income". 4- On the screen to your right, choose the option "T4RSP - Income from Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RL-2)". 5- Enter the information regarding your T4RSP slip, either on line "Annuity payment from RRSP (RL-2 box B) and on the field to the right in Box 16 enter the amount withdrawn. The program will carry the amount over to line 12900 of the federal return and, for Quebec residents, to line 122 of the Quebec return.   9. Hi @Yves G, are you trying to carry forward your tax return 2020 ufile to ufile 2021? To carry forward your tax return from 2020 to 2021, you should follow the instructions: 1. Start UFile 2020. 2. Click on the 'Review' tab. 3. If you do not have errors, click on the 'Tax return' tab. 4. Click 'Save PDF'. 5. SAVE the data file by clicking on the Diskette icon. 6. Close UFile 2020. NOTE: If your data files are on a USB memory stick or a CD, please transfer them to your local disk C:, in My documents or in a new folder ( ex. Taxes 2020). In order to carry forward your 2020 tax return prepared with UFile for Windows 2020 to UFile for Windows 2021, please follow these steps: 1. run UFile 2021. 2. From the "Start" tab, click on "Carry forward a 2020 tax file". 3. Under "Select the type of file to import", check "2020 UFile or ImpôtExpert tax file (.u20)". 4. Click the "Browse" button to locate your .u20 file. 5. Click "Open" after you locate the file. 6. Click "Continue". 7. Click "Continue" again. 8. Click "OK". NOTE: It is very important that you browse to find your file. This will ensure that both the name and location of the file are correct. You cannot just enter the name of the file. UFile also needs to know where on your computer the file is located. By browsing, you will ensure that this information is correct. UFile will open and your tax information will be carried forward into the 2021 tax year.

If you do not already have a UFile ONLINE account, proceed as follows (otherwise proceed to step 10): 1. Go to the following web page: https://www.ufile.ca/ 2. Click on the "Start your return ONLINE FOR FREE" button and click "Create New Account". 3. Complete the form and be sure to check the box "I agree with the Terms and Conditions of the Licence agreement". 4. Click on the "Create my account" button. 5. Complete "Step 2 - Password reset options" as desired, then click "Next". 6. In "Step 3 - Finish", at the bottom of the page, print the information, than click the button "Start" from the bottom of the page. 7. Click "Go!". 8. The tax year will appear in the "Tax years list".
