I figured it out.... when income splitting, ufile also transfers the tax deducted associated with the income transferred, to the receiving spouse. Problem solved.

The amount I have entered in "Income tax deducted" from my T4A is not the amount showing up on the final tax form "total income tax deducted" there is a 1,741.89 difference. What do I do to change this.... reentering the number isn't helping.
