Income tax for a married couple, he deceased in september 2021, therefore, in ufile wife must update marriage change to widowed, this is creating problems under spouse, as even tho he passed in september his marriage status did not change, but ufile is saying is should?? What am I doing wrong??
Secondly, can this income tax be for 2021 as well as for final? who exactly should claim the cpp death benefit, deceased sin on it, should it be claimed by estate or by living spouse?
