  1. Contributions made in Jan+Feb in the year following the fiscal year do not put you in excess contribution. https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/cra-arc/formspubs/pbg/t1-ovp/t1-ovp-21e.pdf Excess contributions are established based on totals on Dec. 31st. The warning message from UFile is misleading. It sent me in a loop as well.
  2. Daharpa, you are correct, see table 4 if you scroll down at the link below. You are in excess contributions if your contributions from contributions in the tax year (until Dec. 31) + your unused contributions exceed your RRSP deduction limit for that year. The warning that UFILE gives you goes against the documentation from the CRA. https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/forms-publications/publications/t4040/rrsps-other-registered-plans-retirement.html#P2144_51601
  3. I get the exact same. No solution here. Ufile says you need to contact with Revenue Quebec or print out and sent it by mail. Called Revenu Quebec, they say error T3T00001 is when the software cannot calculate properly. I re-entered everything but makes no difference.
