I have question about How to claim DTC Disability amount transferred from a dependant: Line 31800.
My mom got approved for DTC and my name is on her form as supporting person that can use her DTC. When I login to my CRA account, I can see it said I can claim her DTC now.
However here is the question. We file tax using Ufile separately, and seem like I have no way to claim line 31800. Does it mean I must file together by adding her as dependant when I file my tax return?
My concern is according to CRA, she is NOT my dependant because I am not single (I do have spouse and child) and I do NOT live with her?
