Don85
If you use your vehicle for self employment income for only 3 months of the year, and incur vehicle expenses (gas, oil changes, etc.) in that time frame, would you put the KM used for business divided by the total KM for the year or total KM for the 3 months? I would assume if you used the full year you can claim a full years worth of expenses? Anyone have thoughts on this?
TheTaxSmith
Hi Don85. You need to enter the km as you have stated and you need to use the full expenses for the year. Basically the km for business are for three months so all will work out correctly.
