Posted April 18, 2021 Report Share Posted April 18, 2021 many of the prior year comparative numbers are not accurate in 2020. i first noticed that some CCA's that i limited to $0 carried forward with the maximum deduction. then i saw that some of the prior year comparative numbers were wrong too. i did update the 2020 and the problem is still there. using ufile4 for windows. any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks, Sandra Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted April 21, 2021 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2021 ufile support confirmed that you have to first save the 2019 return in pdf (after transmitting to the govt), then import your 2019 data into 2020. it fixed the problem for me. NKM Posted May 5, 2021 Report Share Posted May 5, 2021 I am using Ufile12. Noticed wrong carry fwd #s. I selected a specific *.u19 file to carry fwd, BUT it carried fwd a DIFFERENT u19 file. How is that possible? Plus how does saving the u19 file to a PDF solve the problem? Note: Ufile Helpdesk sent me the 'save to Pdf soln'.
