teachinggeek
Hi Guys, Hoping someone can answer this question. I am filling out a back tax for 2020. I was living in Ontario most of 2020, but definitely when it mattered on Dec 31, 2020. Currently I am living in Valleyfield Quebec and have been since May of 2021. So for my 2020 tax return, I put province of residence as Ontario and then when it asks me my mailing address I have put my current address....which CRA has said is the right thing to do even though at NO TIME during 2020 was I living here. I am getting address conflict messages that are stopping me from being able to Netflie and so am wondering if CRA is wrong. I am wondering if I should not put the mailing address I had at the time of Dec 31 2020. Anyone help?
