Ali
I have non capital losses from other years ( 2008, 2009, 2010). After completing my 2021 Ufile interview and generating my tax return, I find the federal return has allowed my non capital losses in the amount of $8800 and entered them on line 25200. However my Quebec return has allowed none. Why is this? Can it be remedied for the Quebec return to allow these losses? Any insight is appreciated. TheTaxSmith
Look closely at the data entry schedule and click on the Quebec symbol next to the loss entry line. A Quebec box will open and you should enter the corresponding Quebec amounts as well. Try that as a work around making certain the Quebec losses match the amount from your Quebec assessments.
