So, please forgive me if I missed it and this is the same question twice. But, the problem I have is that when CRA uploads my tax information from BMO investorline, it uploads the American stock buys and sells in US dollars. I have always filed in Cdn dollars before, converting US to Cdn. Is there any way to get the US stock buys and sells in Canadian dollars by CRA? I could do it manually but that kind of defeats the idea of automatic uploading, Appreciate greatly any advice.\ G Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TheTaxSmith Posted May 1, 2022 Report Share Posted May 1, 2022 Since it's a US investment account and I suspect no broker as you do your own buying and selling, then you have to do the conversions yourself.
