How to fix "Exempt PPIP earnings were specified on a T4 slip which originates outside of Quebec"?

Just realized my tax return for 2021 application was not successful and I haven't receive my tax return yet, how do you fix the 'Exempt PPIP earnings were specified on a T4 slip which originates outside of Quebec' problem under Electronic Filing Errors? And is it too late to fix it right now?

Hello nnanaa,

If your earnings were outside of Quebec, then you must select the “T4 income (earned in any province except Quebec)”.

Go to the “Interview” section and in the left side column select “T2 and employment income”. Then on the page that appears on the right select “T4 income (earned in any province except Quebec)”. Delete the other entry by clicking on the little minus sign next to the item in the left side column. 

If your tax file rejected, then make the correction and submit your tax return as soon as possible. Make sure you receive a confirmation number from the CRA, which confirms your return was received.
