Yes, UFile allows you to claim donations without any additional cost. When you use UFile to prepare your tax return, you can enter your charitable donations by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your UFile account and click on "Start a New Tax Return."
  2. Enter your personal information and continue to the "Interview" section.
  3. Under the "Charitable Donations" section, select "Edit" to enter your donations.
  4. Select "Add a New Slip" and choose "Charitable Donations" from the list of options.
  5. Enter the amount of your charitable donations, including the name of the organization(s) you donated to and the date(s) of your donation(s).
  6. Continue to follow the prompts to complete the interview and file your tax return.

UFile will automatically calculate the amount of your charitable tax credit based on the information you provide. There is no additional cost to claim charitable donations when using UFile.
