Christina T Posted December 16, 2023 Report Share Posted December 16, 2023 Hello! I was told by CRA I must file paper returns after arbitrary assessments unders 152(7) of the income tax act. She said the software should reject a netfiling however since its not their own software there is no guarantee. Does UFile have this built in restriction or has this happened to anyone after being assessed? I'm thinking it would reject your filing based on your SIN. I'm tempted to test it as it's taking at least 8 months to process paper returns. That's how long it took when I filed 2016 after being assessed. Many thanks!
