Meagan Posted January 30 Report Share Posted January 30 Hey all -- I'm filling some bits and pieces in my ufile online return, and now that the simple home office expenses deduction has gone away, I have to use the detailed one. I'm looking at this page here I'm confused by the bottom one: "Taxes". A few lines above it they've got a "Property Taxes (commission employees only)" line, so I'm assuming I can't claim property taxes as I'm salaried. So what does that little "Taxes" line at the very bottom mean? Taxes paid on heat, electricity, phone, etc? Or is it property taxes for salary employees and I'm misinterpreting?
