my 2023 ufile is a on WIndows 11 Pro 64 bit version and I am trying to carry forward my 2022 ufile tax return which was on Windows 10 also 64 bit. But it doesn't work. I can't carry forward the file as it says "something went wrong" or gives me the system error issue

Hello Jad,

It appears you are using the 2022 tax year to carry forward a 2022 file.

First, please close all UFILE programs.

Then open 2023 and carry forward a 2022 tax file.

(You cannot use 2022 to carryforward or import a 2022 tax file ).

No that's not what I was doing. I can't even open a 2022 tax file on ufile 2022 which was generated on a different laptop. it seems the files are all corrupted. the only way out was to go to the old laptop and regenarate the ufile 2022 files .
