Carolyn V
@Nawal, I have a question about your 4th line instruction: "4. On the page appearing to your right, click on the plus sign "+" icon to the right of the line "Personal use property (Including the principal residence)"." I thought we should + (add) the "Real estate, depreciable property, and other properties" form. I was thinking the "Personal use property" form was for something like a cottage? Can you explain the difference? Thank you!
Carolyn V
@Nawal I was just looking on the Canada website (2 related links below) which refers to cars, boats, cottages as "personal-use property". As such, I do believe it is the "Real estate, depreciable property, and other properties" form to complete. https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/tax-return/completing-a-tax-return/personal-income/line-127-capital-gains/completing-schedule-3/personal-use-property.html https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/tax-return/completing-a-tax-return/personal-income/line-127-capital-gains/completing-schedule-3/real-estate-depreciable-property-other-properties.html Cheers, Carolyn
