Adrian82
Hi - Might be a dumb question.... I filed, and realized i missed a tax form so re-filed immediately, both through UFile (second one was using the "refile feature". The outcome of the additional form was a reduction in my return from ~6500 to ~5500. I got both my assessment and reassessment today and everything matches. However, the government deposited the original amount. Should i expect them to auto-debit the ~$1000 in the coming days, or do i have to manually send in a payment for that amount? Cheers! AltaRed
If you don't have auto debit from CRA set up (if you can even do that for 2020 taxes owing), then no. They won't have any authorization to dip into your bank account.
