amandab03
I have done everything that I can thing of to try and fix these "ERRORS" that they say we are having. My return went threw no problem, when I went to do my husbands it says that his quebec return went threw fine, but when we go to do his federal return it keeps giving us warnings, when we try to fix them and do what they say it still doesnt let us do it. I have sent 4 email for help now and I get no response. If someone could please help that would be great. These are the warnings that we are getting: .You have to confirm in the MaxBack controls page of the family head filethat the spouse or common-law partner amount on line 498 of Schedule 1-Ais NIL. Click here. You have to confirm in the MaxBack controls page of the family head filethat the amounts transferred from your spouse or common-law partner online 499 of Schedule 1-A is NIL. Click here. Bretonix
You probably selected "No" as the answer to these two questions which are located in the Controls page of the "Family Head". These questions relate to amounts in specific lines in Schedule 1-A, Family Tax Cut. They do not relate to your spouse's net income. You must select "Yes". Note that these questions are a requirement of the CRA.

Bretonix
Which product are you using? - UFile for Windows or - UFile ONLINE Who is the "Family Head" i.e. the leftmost name under the 5 tabs? When you look in the Family Head's Federal summary (Review tab) who is getting the Family Tax Cut, line
nitouche
I am having exactly the same problem -- would appreciate a solution as well! EDIT: It seems to be sorted now. The error message was referring to my spouse, but actually seems to have been based on my data.
tutuba1
I do have such problem. and I have been ufile user for over 5 years. and the experience of 2015 is nightmare. Here is my setup: Ufile which is purchased, installed on my computer with windows 7 It has been updated with all update. However the maxback still does not let me submit my tax. and also this year ufile change is horrible. who is head of reporting tax, where to setup it. before we have the person to receive the gst credit as head of tax report. I have read the 2015 tax guide and answer yes, but it still does not work. I will give a try again, and if still does not work ,I will buy quicktax. mrm_uf
OK, think I figured this out. Look at your form 1-A in the tax return. You will probably have 'nil' for your spouse's income on at least one of the lines. You can't just set all three to YES or NO, look at 1-A, lines 497, 498 and 499 and set the answers appropriately. laurat
I am having the same error- I have confirmed the lines 497, 498 & 499 - with a no, yes, yes based on what is show on Schedule 1-a - and still gives me an error?
tattal
I had exactly the same error messages. It took me an hour to figure this out. This seems to be the application issue - the errors have to be cleared on the Family Head return (the one on the far left) but the application sends you to the other spouse's return instead (when you follow the "Click here" links). The 2015 UFile version is totally disappointing. MaxBack RRSP Analyzer is also not working giving constant error message "oops, something went wrong..." The tech support did not respond besides just issuing a ticket number. Bad... bad...
Magnes24
but this is TOTALLY WRONG!! I answered my husbands return yes to all three question and the warning is gone, BUT my adjusted taxable income is NOT $NIL... whatever... finally get rid off the messages and I agree this year's UFile is disappointing...
