  7. Hello Calio, You cannot simply split or optimize income such as employment income. For investment income the same applies , you cannot simply split or optimize income- capital gain / dividends or interest 50/50 with your spouse (or others). It is pre-defined as per the account set up with the financial institution. Hello Kunwar Ahmed, In order to access your clients’ information, you must have submitted an authorization request to the CRA which is signed by the client prior to attempting to download their information. Your authorization must be up to date in the current year, that is 2023. You cannot use an authorization from a prior year to EFILE a tax return.

  14. Hello c_config, If you are already remitting GST/HST you do not use this method - it is only for small suppliers (<$30,000 Sales) who do not remit but have collected GST/HST.

  17. Hello Antoine, An error occurred installing the package. Windows Installer returned '1612'. Code 1612 means you have it already installed. Remove all of them and then re-install, go to control panel / uninstall ...then download again (do not click Repair)

Make your choice based on the box on your T4. In the field preceded by the sign "$", enter the amount on your T4. At the far right of the screen, there is an icon of the plus sign "+".
