MSH Posted March 20, 2022 Report Share Posted March 20, 2022 Good day, I'm using the Ufile program. Question: I'm filing a 2021 tax return for a deceased person that died recently March 2022. Do I file a regular return (without checking deceased) and declining all credits? OR do I file DECEASED with the March 2022 date and using the drop menu choosing final return or "deceased taxpayer next year (Memo)"? I will complete a 2022 final return - accordingly in 2023.
