Duane Smith
My only income is self employed income on 1 T4A slip with box 048 the only value. I can't Netfile due to 'The amount in box 048 of the T4A slip must be reported within the corresponding business as self employed' -- doing this doubled by income and tripled my amount owing. TheTaxSmith
On the self-employment schedule did you enter the amount from Box 48 as Fees for services (T4A) only and no where else on that schedule? Also you need to open up a T4A and complete the data entry for Box 48. That T4A slip you need to enter does not carry over to the income statement. It is for information purposes only. TheTaxSmith
Are the amounts you entered in box 48 for the T4A the exact same as the amounts entered on the business statement for the specific line for box 48.
