maria karagioules Posted May 17, 2022 Report Posted May 17, 2022 I leased a vehicle feb 2020 and claimed it under motor expenses but not CCA as I use it for business. I purchased a used vehicle on november 2020 to use exclusively for personal use and to keep the lease 100% for business. for the 2021 return should I included this 2nd vehicle under motor expenses and should I include both vehicles for CCA. thanks Maria Quote
Curmudgeon Posted May 18, 2022 Report Posted May 18, 2022 Since the vehicle is for 100% personal use, no part of it can be claimed for business expenses. Can't charge CCA on the leased vehicle because it isn't owned. The lease payments are charged. Quote
