Luc T. Posted March 4, 2023 Report Posted March 4, 2023 https://secure.ufile.ca/T1-2022/help/en/kb/16796.htm Is this window right or wrong - it pops on the line for 2022 "Total number of days you worked from home in 2022 due to COVID-19" ? Can I tell days in 2022 for that credit or is it only for 2021? Thanks. Quote
Geo123 Posted March 4, 2023 Report Posted March 4, 2023 Hello Luc T., It is for 2022. The temporary flat rate method is used to calculate your home office expenses for 2022 for employees who worked from home in 2022 due to COVID-19. If you use this method, your employer is not required to complete Form T2200S, Declaration of Conditions of Employment for Working at Home Due to COVID-19, and you are not required to keep documents to support your claim. If you meet the condition, you can claim $2 for each day that you worked at home during that period, plus any other days you worked at home in 2022 due to COVID-19, up to a maximum of $500. Quote
